The company was founded in the late 1970's by Norwegian ship owner and entrepreneur Elling Ellingsen. Today, the Ellingsen Shipping Group operates as a tonnage provider geared to the rapidly changing realities of the shipping industry. Our organisation currently has major shareholdings in ship owning entities within shipping sectors such as short and medium range RoRo vessels, oil products/chemical carriers, MPP dry cargo vessels and handysize dry bulk carriers. Our sailing fleet has an average age of less than three years and meets rigorous international industry standards as well as the demanding requirements of our customers.
