Through Nordic-Link Shipping the group has made strategic investments in Multipurpose vessels and more recently Handysize dry cargo tonnage with medium to long-term client charters. The group sees large potential within these segments.

Investments include two 2002/2003-built, 4,700-dwt geared and boxed MPP vessels, currently trading Europe / Africa.

During mid 2009 Nordic-Link Shipping invested four 33,500-dwt handysize bulk carriers for deliveries 2010-2011. The double-skin ships are designed to carry hazardous cargo and are strengthened for heavy cargoes. All vessels will enter five-year time charters upon deliveries for world-wide trading. Further investments are planned within this segment in the coming years.
